Brahmatal Trek is one of the most scenic and rewarding winter treks in Uttarakhand, offering trekkers an unforgettable experience. Situated at an altitude of 12,250 feet, Brahmatal Lake is surrounded by snow-covered meadows and offers mesmerizing views of prominent Himalayan peaks like Mt. Trishul and Mt. Nanda Ghunti. The trek takes you through dense oak and rhododendron forests, with breathtaking views of snow-laden landscapes, making it an ideal choice for both beginners and experienced trekkers.
Early morning departure from Rishikesh. Scenic drive through Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag. Lunch en route (not included in the package). Arrival at Lohajung by evening. Post breakfast, begin the trek through dense oak and rhododendron forests. Gradual ascent with picturesque views of the surrounding valleys. Arrival at Bekaltal campsite by afternoon. Post breakfast, gradual ascent towards Brahmatal Base. Trek through snow-covered meadows and ridges with clear views of the Himalayan ranges. Reach the campsite by afternoon. Evening acclimatization walk and interaction with the trekking team. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Early morning trek to Brahmatal Summit. Spectacular sunrise view and panoramic sight of Mt. Trishul and Mt. Nanda Ghunti. Time to explore the frozen Brahmatal Lake. Packed lunch at the summit. Descent back to Brahmatal Base. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Post breakfast, begin the descent towards Lohajung. Trek through snow-covered trails and dense forests. Arrival at Lohajung by afternoon. Rest and enjoy a farewell dinner. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Early morning departure from Lohajung. Scenic drive back to Rishikesh. Lunch en route (not included in the package). Expected arrival in Rishikesh by late evening.
