The Kedarnath temple, situated at an altitude of 11,755 feet in the Garhwal Himalayas, attracts millions of devotees every year. The temple is surrounded by stunning snow capped peaks and the Mandakini River, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. The journey begins from Haridwar, passing through Rishikesh, Devprayag, and Guptkashi, followed by a 16 km trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. Pilgrims who prefer not to trek can opt for ponies or helicopter services.
