
Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a revered pilgrimage site located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. It is part of the Char Dham Yatra and holds great spiritual significance. The Kedarnath temple, situated at an altitude of 11,755 feet in the Garhwal Himalayas, attracts millions of devotees every year. The temple is surrounded by stunning snow capped peaks and the Mandakini River, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. The journey begins from Haridwar, passing through Rishikesh, Devprayag, and Guptkashi, followed by a 16 km trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath.
